Police: Joseph Babb dies after being shot multiple times in Belize City

By BBN Staff:The Belize Police Department has issued an official report on reputed gang boss, Joseph Babb, 21.

According to the report, at about 6:30 last night police visited a compound outside a  shop located at the corner of Blue Marlin Drive.
 Besides the shop, they observed the lifeless body of Babb.

Initial investigation revealed that sometime earlier he was standing in front of a food stall on Blue Marlin Drive when a man exited a vehicle firing several gunshots at him. 

He reportedly ran and was followed by the gunman who kept firing at him. 
Babb later collapsed where he was found by police.
He was pronounced dead on arrival at the Karl Heusner Memorial Hospital and had gunshot wounds to the back of the head, left the side of the chest, left elbow, and the right lower back. 

Police are investigating.
