Interpol issues red alert for Argentinian entrepreneur believed to be in Belize

By BBN Staff: This morning, the International Criminal Police Organization (Interpol) issued a red alert for Argentinan entrepreneur, Alberto Samid.

The Interpol warrant published ‘Belice’ on the form for the possible location of the fugitive.

Samid is from Buenos Aires, Argentina and is wanted by authorities for tax evasion.

The 71-year-old businessman who is the owner of several livestock and meat shop businesses and a political affiliate of the Justicialist Party is being accused of evading a significant amount of taxes for his firms.

Samid yesterday assured national news outlets in Argentina that he will not turn himself in because according to him, he is being politically victimized since he is not a supporter of the current government.

Anyone with information that can help authorities is asked to contact the nearest police station.
