Barracks valued at $73,000 destroyed by fire

By BBN Staff: Authorities are investigating the cause of a fire that destroyed an entire barracks in Seine Bight village yesterday.

Police reports indicate that around 2:00 p.m. cops responded to the scene and saw a wooden elevated structure measuring 45feet by 35feet engulfed in flames.

The barracks is owned by Mary Palacio.

At the time of the fire, the building was in the care of Kenisha Avilez.

The cause of the fire is unknown and no one was injured.

The total value of damage is estimated at $73,000.

An ivestigation is ongoing.
