Belize City house shot up

By BBN Staff: A Belize City house located on Estela Metzgen Street was shot up earlier tonight. The incident reportedly occurred around 6:30 p.m.

Belize City police visited the scene of the incident after a report was made that several shots were fired in the area and 4 apparent bullet holes were found on the house. Inside the house was a woman, her common-law husband and 5 children. However, none of the occupants were injured.

While canvassing the scene, police found several expended shells on Estela Metzgen Street.

The shooting is alleged to be related to an earlier fight that happened on the said street.
