Ministry of Health: 27 new cases, 4 deaths

By BBN Staff: The Ministry of Health has informed that 4 more patients that tested positive for COVID-19 passed away.

The Director of Health Services (DHS) informed that of the 181 samples processed, 27 new cases of COVID-19 were detected.

The preliminary breakdown is as follows;

– Corozal – 2 (Altamira & Paraiso)

– Belize – 4 (3 in Belize City & 1 in San Pedro)

– Cayo – 5 (Belmopan 3 & Armenia 2)

– Orange Walk – 16 (OW town, August Pine Ridge, San Felipe, Yo Creek, San Lazaro, San Jose Palmar, San Estevan)

One patient has recovered.
