San Pedro Town Council announces temporary closure

By BBN Staff: The San Pedro Town Council announced that it would be temporarily closed this morning due to funeral services for the late Gilberto “Chico” Gomez.

The council said that the closure would last from 8:00 a.m. and 10:00 a.m.

Gomez was San Pedro’s first Mayor and has a long-standing record of service to the island in various capacities.

The People’s United Party (PUP) also issued a statement recently, mourning his passing.
