Belize Weather: Near-perfect weather for holiday Monday

The National Meteorological Service’s forecast calls for generally fair weather, mostly sunny skies and brief isolated showers if any. Later skies will be partly cloudy tonight.

Temperatures are a comfortable 85 degrees Fahrenheit along the coast; a warm 91 degrees inland, and a tempered 76 degrees in the hills. Low temperatures tonight are 78 degrees along the coast; 70 degrees inland and 64 degrees in the hills.

Winds are easterly to southeasterly at five to 15 knots with choppy seas. Waves will reach heights of three to five feet.

Tides will be low at 6:58 this morning, then high at 12:43 this afternoon and low again at 8:04 tonight. The sun sets at exactly six this evening and rises at 6:06 a.m. Tuesday.

Tuesday will see continuing fair weather and only isolated showers.
