Doctors, nurses, public health inspectors participating in Frontline Field Epidemiology Training Program held by Ministry of Health & Wellness

By Rubén Morales Iglesias: Doctors, registered nurses, rural health nurses, and public health inspectors are participating in a three-month Frontline Field Epidemiology Training Program held by the Ministry of Health & Wellness (MOHW).

According to the MOHW, Kevin Bernard said he was in support of the training in anticipation of the conclusion when we get to celebrate with the graduating class. He expressed well wishes to the group and trainers. He also shared his support for this training in anticipation of the conclusion when we get to celebrate with the graduating class.

The MOHW said the training program will help “strengthen our frontline workers and related sector human resources in field epidemiology which includes improving quality, management and reporting of data to assist in decision making”.

The Frontline Field Epidemiology Training Program is being facilitated by Myra Fernandez, Surveillance Officer in the Ministry of Health, at the National Emergency Management Organization (NEMO) Office in Belmopan.
