Belize fall to El Salvador in XIX Under-21 Central American Men’s Volleyball Championship

By Rubén Morales Iglesias: Belize lost their first encounter in the XIX Under-21 Central American Men’s Volleyball Championship in Nicaragua on Tuesday.

El Salvador won the game in straight sets 3-0 (25-19, 25-12, 25-20) at the Alexis Arguello Polideportivo in Managua.

Preston Smith totalled ten points.

Belize’s next game will be against Panama on Wednesday at 4:00 pm. Our team plays against Guatemala on Thursday at 2:00pm, faces Costa Rica on Friday at 2:00 pm, takes on Honduras on Saturday at 2:00 pm, and closes against hosts Nicaragua on Monday at 6:00 pm.

Guatemala beat Honduras 3-0 (25-10, 25-17, 25-12) in the tournament opener earlier today.

Nicaragua play Panama at 6:30 pm.
