International News: Texas man admits to murdering his Nicaraguan wife inside their home

By Zoila Palma Gonzalez: U.S. authorities have detained Texas resident, Jared Dicus after he admitted to murdering his Nicaraguan wife inside their home, Latin Post reports.

Dicus was charged with the murder of his 21-year-old wife, Anggy Diaz.

On Wednesday, police found Diaz’s decapitated body at the couple’s home in Magnolia.

Waller County Sheriff Troy Guidry said the crime was “gruesome”.

Police are still trying to determine a motive for the heinous crime.

Authorities say that it was Dicus’s father who called the police after he saw Diaz’s body.

During the investigation, Dicus reportedly confessed to police that he committed the crime but did not say why he did it.

Local reports say that Diaz had been working 2 jobs to pay for her mom’s cancer treatment in Nicaragua.
