‘One life matters:’ State of Emergency a tool against crime but focus is on saving lives

By Aaron Humes: Minister of Home Affairs Kareem Musa reiterated that instituting States of Emergency as has happened since 2020 is only one tool in the arsenal against crime.

The others include continued efforts to turn around lives by employment, counseling and others.

He maintained that one lesson from the late William Dawson is that one life matters and that every effort should be made to save lives.
