San Pedro resident charged for operating motorcycle without license in Ladyville

By Aaron Humes: Being caught driving an unlicensed motorcycle, which also didn’t carry insurance, while himself not having a driver’s license, was a triple strike for construction worker Daniel Hernandez of San Pedro Town, Ambergris Caye.

Hernandez pleaded guilty in court following a traffic stop on August 29 on Marage Road, Ladyville, Belize District, where he was seen driving a Lifan 250 motorcycle.

Checks found the motorcycle was not licensed, not third-party-risk insured, and Hernandez himself had no driver’s license.

Hernandez was fined a total of $300 for all charges and cost of court due by October 31. In default he would serve 2 ½ weeks in prison.
