Police make arrest in Boom Road fatal accident

By Aaron Humes: Police have formally arrested Jules James Adderly, 43-year-old Belizean of Hattieville Village, Belize District for the crimes of manslaughter by negligence, causing death by careless conduct and driving a motor vehicle without due care and attention.

On Sunday, September 3, Oscar Mayen Jr was traveling the Burrell Boom – Hattieville Road on motorcycle, headed for his work place, when he was hit by a vehicle that drifted into his lane then crashed into a lamppost. He died not far from where his father suffered a similar mishap in June of this year.
