Monthly phone allowance for Chief Executive Officers to increase by $350!

By Breaking Belize News Staff: A leaked letter dated on November 14 and addressed to the Cabinet secretary detailed an approval for an increase on phone allowance from $250 monthly to $600.

According to 7News, Financial Secretary Joseph Waight noted, “I write to confirm that approval has been granted for an increase in telephone allowance from $250 to $600 per month for all Chief Executive Officers, the Cabinet Secretary, the financial secretary and the solicitor general to take effect from the respective dates of their soon to be renewed contracts.”
