Mile 8 Culvert Replacement – George Price Highway

The Ministry of Infrastructure Development & Housing informs the public of the commencement of civil road works to replace a double cell culvert at approximately Mile 8 on the George Price Highway, near the Prosser Fertilizer & Agrotec Co. Ltd. distribution center. The culvert replacement is scheduled to commence on 12 December 2023 and be completed by 14 December 2023.

The public is advised that traffic will be restricted to one lane during the time the culvert structure is being replaced. Drivers are asked to be aware of traffic warning signs and the instructions of any traffic management persons. The ministry also advises that speeding is to be avoided as exposed loose gravel during the consolidation period is a safety risk at high speeds.
