Man dies in house fire in Corozal

By Breaking Belize News Staff: Just after 2:30 am today, police responded to reports of a fire on 7^th Avenue in Corozal.

There, they observed a wooden home engulfed in flames.

Inside of the home, police found the charred remains of Omar Barahona, 49.

Barahona reportedly lived alone and was last seen last night consuming alcohol.

The cause of the fire is yet to be determined.

The body was transported to the morgue and a post mortem examination is scheduled.

Investigations continue.
