Belize City man sustains wounds to face near eye and ears following stabbing incident

By Aaron Humes: A Belize City man was stabbed a few minutes ago on Wilson Street, Belize City.

According to police, 24-year-old Lawrence Sanchez of 11th Street, King’s Park, was seen with apparent cut wounds under the right eye, upper part of the right ear, back of the head and middle of the forehead.

Sanchez was taken to the Karl Heusner Memorial Hospital, where doctors stated his injuries are not life threatening and classified them as Wounding. He had been issued medico forms. Police investigations continue.
