Man charged with boisterous behavior in police station sent home from court after court book can’t be found

Posted: Tuesday, March 19, 2024. 5:54 pm CST.

By Breaking Belize News Staff: Aaron Wilson, 34, a Belize City resident charged with boisterous behavior inside a police station left the court on Monday after waiting hours for the court to locate the court book, which could not be found.

Wilson had been charged after visiting the Ladyville police station on March 8 and getting into an argument with a police officer at the station. The situation started because Wilson made a phone call to the station to check up on an employee but when a female officer hung up the phone on him, he went down to the station personally. That led to the incident for which he was charged.

In court on Monday, however, Wilson appeared with his attorney Richard “Dickie” Bradley and after waiting hours, the court book was not located and Wilson left on the advice of his attorney. Wilson is currently out on bail of $800.
