By Breaking Belize News Staff: Walton Patrick Banner, 36, the police inspector charged with obstruction of justice during an altercation at a horse race in Burrell Boom has been granted bail of $1,000.
Banner appeared in court unrepresented on Monday. He pleaded not guilty and was offered bail in the sum of $1,000 plus one surety of the same. He is expected to be placed on interdiction.
Banner is accused of obstruction an on-duty officer from arresting an associate during the scuffle at the race. Julian Reynolds was arrested in that incident. Following that incident, Malcolm Reynolds, was killed in a shooting at a bus stop in Burrell Boom.
