Friday, October 9, 2015. BMG: Two Placencia men have been detained in connection with a burglary at the home of an American businessman and owner of Sail Fish Resort’s.

Fifty-year-old Michael Gargan reported to police that sometime between 6:30 p.m. and 9:30 p.m. on October 6th, his apartment was broken into and a metal safe containing items valued at a total of $38,700 was stolen. Those items included two Rolex wrist watches each valued at $18,100, two American Passports and a cash amount of $2,500.
