Man charged with uncle’s murder

By BBN Staff: It made the news when Lincoln Robinson, 42, was slain on the island of San Pedro last Saturday.

Robinson, a Belize City south side figure, had left his volatile community and relocated to San Pedro for some time in pursuit of a better life.

However, he was unable to escape on Saturday morning when a lone gunman pounced on him while he was leaving a night club.

He was shot twice to the face and upon falling to the ground he was shot once more. Robinson reportedly died on the spot.

On Monday San Pedro police formally arrested Robinson’s nephew.

Deshawn Goff, 23, of the D.F.C area San Pedro Town has since been charged with Robinson’s murder.
