Belize invites Cubs’ David Ross to free vacation

By BBN Staff:  The biggest Cubs fan base outside of Chicago is located in Belize and to celebrate the team’s historic World Series win, Belize has offered David Ross an all expenses paid vacation.

The invitation was extended by the Belize Tourism Board through a Belizean version of the video “ Go Cubs Go” on Twitter.

Since 1981, Belizeans have been known to be the most Cubs-friendly place outside of Chicago due to WGN being one of the only channels available in the country.

In Chicago, a river was dyed blue to celebrate the historic win of the Cubs. Belizeans at home and abroad are sharing the same excitement.

There is a Cubs victory parade scheduled for tomorrow at 2:00 p.m. in San Ignacio starting at the Victor Galvez stadium.
