Sunday, July 20, 2014. DEVON YOUNG Reporting: A traffic accident early this morning on the Phillip Goldson Highway has left one man dead and two of his family members hospitalized.

The victim has been identified as Remejio Botes, a resident of Cristo Rey village, Corozal.

According to reports, Reyes was driving his SUV towards Cristo Rey early this morning when he reportedly lost control of the vehicle and ran off the road at the entrance to San Jose village in the Orange Walk district.

Botes died on the spot while his wife and two young children were taken to the Northern Regional hospital for treatment.

Police investigations continue.
