Monday, November 24, 2015. PATRICK E. JONES Reporting: There was an early morning traffic accident today in San Ignacio town.

Around 12:15 am today, an SUV went out of control on the roundabout at the western entrance to San Ignacio town on the George Price Highway and overturned with its four wheels in the air.

The vehicle, according to reports received, ended up inside of the compound of a church in the area.

The driver of the vehicle was detained by police and taken to the San Ignacio police station a short time later.
