Charles Leslie leaves Belize Unity Alliance for new movement

Tuesday, September 22^nd, 2015. Aaron Humes Reporting: Former Placencia Village Chairman and political candidate Charles Leslie Jr announced Sunday that he is stepping down as chairman of the Belize Unity Alliance in order to pursue a new opportunity, according to a post he added on his Facebook page.

He will act as spokesperson for a new movement to be titled the People’s Progressive Alliance. Leslie says he is continuing a journey he started in 2010 but offered no details on the new movement. Leslie served as chairman from 2014 to 2015.
