By Aaron Humes: 10 months after the untimely death of beloved KREMANDALA Journalist Kareem Clarke, his colleagues of the Kareem Clarke Memorial Fund today their first of three events this year in his honor.
Fund Secretary and KREM News Editor Marisol Amaya told us this evening as of news time that their efforts went well and the items have been handed over to St. Joseph R.C. School’s feeding program and Dara’s Feeding Program run by Joel Robinson.
An exact count will be announced at a later time; at the last such drive some 2,000 dollars worth of items was collected.
Collection points included both James Brodie supermarkets on Albert Street and the Philip Goldson Highway and K-Park Supermarket on Sixth Street.
