Police issue official report on murder of Dale Tillett Sr.

By BBN Staff: On Saturday morning around 3:45, police responded to a shooting incident on Hyde Lane, Belize City where they saw 44-year-old Dale Anthony Tillett Sr., a tour guide of Madam Liz Avenue, Belize City with apparent gunshot wounds to the right side of the neck.

Initial investigation reveals that Tillett was walking on Hyde Lane with a group of friends when two male persons on a motorcycle came from behind and one took out a firearm and fired several shots at him causing the fatal injuries.

Also injured in the process was 28-year-old David Garcia of Belize City who received gunshot wounds to the left shoulder.

Garcia was transported to the K.H.M.H for treatment while the body of Dale Antony Tillett was transported to the K.H.M.H morgue.

Police have since detained four male persons pending investigation for the shooting incident.
