France wins Miss Universe 2017

By BBN Staff: The 65th edition of the Miss Universe pageant was held last night in Manila, Phillipines.

Miss France, Iris Mittenaere was crowned the 65th Miss Universe.

The 23-year-old beauty queen is also a dentistry student.

Mittenaere told the judges minutes before she was crowned Miss Universe: “When you fail, you have to be elevated, you have to try again and keep going. If tonight, I’m not one of the winners, I will still have the great of honor of being one of the three finalists.”

The Caribbean also made their stand on the big stage as Haiti’s Raquel Pelissier, a model from Port-au-Prince was crowned as the first runner up.

Miss Colombia, Andrea Tovar was crowned as the second runner-up.
