SIB gets $60,000 worth of new equipment

By BBN Staff:Yesterday at a ceremony held at the National Agriculture and Trade Show Grounds, the Ministry of Agriculture, Fisheries, Forestry, the Environment and Sustainable Development, Omar Figueroa handed over 25 computer systems to the Statistical Institute of Belize (SIB).

The donation is valued at over $60,000 and was made possible through the Ministry’s Capacity Building for Strategic Planning Management of Natural Resources in Belize Project (CD2).

The project is financed by the Global Environmental Facility and the United Nations Development Programme.
