Police find weed and crack cocaine in Stann Creek

By BBN Staff: Yesterday, Stann Creek Police carried out special operations whereby they searched an empty lot in the Baka-a-Town area and found a black garbage bag which contained 1,233.9 grams of cannabis.

As operations continued around 6pm, a search was conducted in Hopkins Village in on abandoned lot which led to the discovery of a black plastic bag containing a total of 262.2 grams of cannabis.

An empty lot in the Benguche area, was also searched. Police found a plastic bag containing 171.2 grams of cannabis and 1.6 grams of crack cocaine.

All items were deposited as “found property.”
