Tragedy on the Coastal Road leaves one man dead

By BBN Staff:  According to confirmed reports, this afternoon around 1:26, police visited the White Bridge area on the Coastal Road in the Stann Creek district.

On the scene, police observed a gold Ford Explorer that was overturned with its 4 wheels in the air.

A 39 year old Guatemalan resident of Hope Creek village, Stann Creek district, was found on the ground beside the vehicle. The body was observed to have a gunshot wound to the back of the head.

The victim was identified as Edwardo Samuel Caal Sub.

Edwardo Sub was transported to the Southern Regional Hospital where he was pronounced dead on arrival.

Police are currently investigating this incident.
