By BBN Staff: On Saturday morning a house was burnt to the ground in Belize City.
At around 1:54 a.m., police visited #4496 Zacaranda street where cops saw a pink upstairs wooden structure measuring approximately 20 x 25 feet destroyed by fire.
The owner of the home, Patricia Flowers, 37, told officers that sometime before 6:00 p.m. on Friday she had left the building properly secured and so when she got a call that it was burnt down it came as a surprise.
Unfortunately she was unable to salvage any of her possessions, which were uninsured along with the building.
Police investigations continue.
