By BBN Staff: This morning around 9:30, an elderly woman was robbed near her home in Benque Viejo Town.
Neighbors and community members came to the rescue of the woman and chased the culprit. He ran and jumped over some fences but the Benque residents continued chasing him with stones, sticks and machetes.
Benque Viejo Police along with the help of community members managed to capture the culprit.
He is detained at the Benque Viejo police station.
