Southside Strike Team find drugs and ammo

By BBN Staff: Just before 1:00 p.m. yesterday, members of the South Side Strike Team conducted a search at an open lot situated at the corner of Dean and Plues streets in Belize City.

During that search, police found a black plastic bag containing five transparent bags of cannabis and another black plastic wrapped with saran wrap containing more cannabis which weighed a total of 127 grams.

Police also found another bag containing five 5.56 and eight .9mm rounds of ammunition.

No one was in the area and the drugs and ammunition were labelled as ‘found property’.
