By BBN Staff: This morning around 8:30, police responded to the sighting of a body in the vicinity of Banana Bank Resort in the Belize River.
The body was retrieved and was identified as Isau Perez,33, of Cotton Tree village, with Stab wounds to the chest and throat.
An immediate postmortem was conducted which revealed he died as a result of stab wounds.
Police are investigating.
