Breaking: Woman and baby die in fatal traffic accident

By Zoila Palma: Police has confirmed that there was a fatal traffic accident this evening near mile 4 on the George Price Highway.

Samantha Castillo 30, of 81 Bella Vista area Belize City and  1 year old, Deanna Castillo lost their lives.  They were travelling in a Honda Element accompanied by Martha Vazquez  and another female child who also received injuries and were both transported to the KHMH for treatment.

Also involved in the traffic accident is diplomat Justin Guidry of the US Embassy who was travelling alone in a Ford 150 pick up.

Guidry was transported to KHMH with injuries.

According to police reports, both vehicles were travelling in the opposite direction when they collided.
