Belize police find gun and ammo

BBN Staff: Belize City cops have again taken another gun and ammunition off the streets.

Yesterday as a result of operation ACT a search was conducted on an empty lot on Cannondale Avenue in the Lake Independence area of Belize City which resulted in the discovery of a plastic bag containing, (1) 9mm pistol with  a chrome magazine containing  (4) live rounds of ammunition and (1) .22 pistol.

No one was in the area at the time so the items were labelled and deposited as found property.
