What happened during the parade last night?

BBN Staff: Police have released details about an incident on Belize City’s down town which broke up the Love FM Christmas parade last night.

Police say that about 6:45 pm, while the parade was passing in-front of Bishop and Albert streets heading towards its culmination point, a group of persons that were  in the parade uttered words to a group of men that were standing at the said corner.

Police say that this exchange of words resulted in bottles being thrown and as a result one Peter Craig, 19, was injured.

He received minor injuries to the right upper  shoulder and at this time he is being treated at the Karl Heusner Memorial Hospital. Police are investigating.
