Man shot in foot in Belize City

By BBN Staff: On Friday night around 7:14, police visited the Karl Heusner Memorial Hospital and saw Jose Carlos Reyes, 32, a Salvadoran warehouse attendant of  Antelope Street Extension suffering from a gunshot wound to the right foot.

Police investigation revealed that about 7:13 p.m., Reyes took  his daughters on Dolphin Street and while driving a  Geo-Prizm Car on South Creek,  the vehicle began experiencing  mechanical problems .
Reyes got  out of the car and he was standing by the rear passenger door  when a man fired 2 shots towards his direction causing his injury
Police investigations continue.
