Chief Executive officer in the Ministry of Health, Ramon Figueroa told the media yesterday that the KHMH is working with the Ministry of Health to see how they can complement some of the services that have been affected by the health facilities in the central region and in the regional hospitals as well.
According to Figueroa, the recovery of services could be completed within the next couple of weeks with the necessary investment. However, there is not an exact time frame to get the KHMH back in full operations.
“We want the public to not panic, the building is not falling down, just be patient with us. We are working with the KHMH,” Figuerora told the media.
Figueroa also stated that a team of Mexican engineers should arrive in Belize within a couple days.
