Elderly man in critical condition after hit-and-run in Maskall village

BBN Staff:On Sunday night, sixty-five-year-old Aurelio Lelo Gonzalez was knocked down by a vehicle and left on the road in Maskall village.

The driver reportedly took off after hitting Gonzalez.

Gonzalez is now fighting for his life at the Karl Heusner Memorial Hospital with a broken nose and leg and severe head injuries.

He remains in a critical condition while police are looking for the vehicle involved in the hit and run accident.

The family is asking the public that if they have any information on the accident to report it to the police.
