BBN Staff: Today, the Hands and Heart Foundation and Belize Natural Energy (BNE) staff donated over $2000 worth of food items to the Eastern Division Region One police formation.

The food items will be used to assist the various feeding programs being spearheaded by Region One officers.

Commander of Eastern Division Region One, Sr. Supt. Howell Gillett explained that the feeding programs are a part of effective policing because when young people are educated and well taken care of, they can become productive members of society.

Gillett thanked the sponsors and supporters of the initiative.
