Man and woman arrested in PG for keeping gun and ammo without license

BBN Staff: Punta Gorda Police arrested two persons yesterday around 11:50 PM for keeping a gun and ammunition without a license.

According to reports, police conducted a search on a white Ford Ranger pick up at the corner of Main Middle Street and Queen Street in Punta Gorda Town where they found a gun and ammunition under the passenger’s seat.

The driver, Ernie Augustine, 30, of Punta Gorda and passenger, Tirese Lino, 27, of Dangriga, were unable to provide a license for the .38 revolver with (S/N) 15775 and the six .38 ammunition.

As a result, authorities arrested them.
