Armed robbers rob 3 apartments in Belize City in the same day

BBN Staff:  Police are investigating three incidences where two armed men robbed 3 apartments at Campos Avenue in Belize City.

Resident of apartment #7 told police that she was inside her room when someone knocked on her door and when she opened it, two men with bandanas over their faces and armed with a 9mm handgun entered her apartment.

The culprits hit her to the face and then stole her pieces of jewelry and a laptop computer, all to a value of $2,000.

Police were then notified that Apartments# 9 and# 11 in the same building were burglarized.

The culprits took cell phones and cash amounting to $975 from apartment #9 while the value of items stolen from apartment #11 is not yet ascertained.

Police are investigating.
