ComPol leads delegation to Jamaica in effort to introduce Child Abuse & Sex Offense center to Belize

By BBN Staff: Commissioner of Police, Chester Williams, is in Jamaica along with a delegation from Belize comprising of Assistant Commissioner of Police, Bartholomew Jones and Inspector Martha Rhys.

The delegation is studying the work of the Center of the Investigation of Sexual Offenses & Child Abuse.

Williams and his team met with the Commissioner of the Jamaica Constabulary Force (JCF) and other Senior Officers of JCF.

The Belize Police Department, in partnership with UNICEF, and the Special Envoy for Women & Children are planning to use this experience to develop a similar center in Belize.
