BBN Staff:  BBN has confirmed that there was a murder in Belize City this morning.

It occurred in the Cet Site area of the Lake Independence Constituency.

The victim has not yet been officially identified but we understand that it is a business owner.

Police are currently on the scene canvassing the area.
