Police confirm body of man found in Mopan River

BBN Staff: BBN reported a short while ago that the body of a man was found floating in the Mopan River in Benque Viejo del Carmen.

Authorities just confirmed that a body was found.  However, it was transported to the San Ignacio Morgue for identification by relatives.

The body is believed to be that of Rudy Moralez, an eighteen-year-old resident of San Ignacio. Moralez was reported missing on Saturday. March 30, 2019, when he left home en route to a staff party in Benque Viejo.
