Body found floating at sea

By BBN Staff: Around 5 this morning, the body of a man was retrieved from the sea in an area near Corozo Blues in Corozal Town.

The body was confirmed to be of Jose Lara,47, a resident of Ranchito Village.

Lara was dressed only in black underwear.

Authorities noted that the body had injuries to the face and scratches to the chest.

A post mortem examination has been scheduled to determine the cause of death.
