4 men and 3 minors charged for burglary

By BBN Staff: Four men and 3 minors have been charged for the crime of burglary.

Around 1 pm yesterday, officers were returning from a prison run in the Police Prison Bus and around Mile 10 ½ on the George Price Highway, they noticed a man carrying a television and heading towards a KIA SUV vehicle.

When the man saw the police, he threw away the television and ran towards the vehicle.

Police set chase and detained Eric Tillett,27.

At the time of the incident, the vehicle was occupied by Wilfred Garbutt, Kevin Bowden, Tyreek Allen and (3) minors.

The minors include a 13-year-old, a 14-year-old, and a 15-year-old.

Further investigations revealed that the men and minors were burglarizing the home of Alarice Andrewin.

The  television was valued at $1,400

Police charged Eric Tillett, Wilfred Garbutt, Kevin Bowden, Tyreek Allen and the three minors for the crime of burglary.
