Alrick Smith escapes from masked gunman

By BBN Staff: Ladyville resident, Alrick Smith, is alive after an attempt on his life over the weekend.

He told police that he was walking on Pigeon Street in the village when an armed masked man emerged.

The two engaged in a struggle during which two shots were fired.

Fortunately, both shots grazed the back of his head.

He was treated and released from the Karl Heusner Memorial Hospital.
